Last year, Martin Couvra secured his maiden DP World Tour title, adding his name to the impressive list of international players who have won this tournament.
The Turkish Airlines Open is the fourth of four counting events on our Asian Swing – the third of five Global Swings which form the first phase of the DP World Tour’s 2026 global schedule.
Türkiye is somewhere our players and staff always enjoy visiting, and we are always made to feel truly welcome here.

A glittering amateur career featured two Italian Amateur Stroke Play victories and a 2004 triumph in the Italian Match Play as well as representative honours for both his nation and Europe. After turning professional he won four times between 2006 and 2016, including a World Golf Championships title in China and was on the winning side at the 2010 – alongside brother Edoardo - and 2012 Ryder Cups.
2018 then saw his career hit new heights as he won a Major at The Open Championship, a Rolex Series title at the BMW PGA Championship, a maiden PGA TOUR title and become the first European to win five points from five at the Ryder Cup in Paris. That helped him become the first Italian to be crowned Europe’s Number One and since he has won again on the PGA TOUR at the 2019 Arnold Palmer Invitational and served as a Ryder Cup vice captain in 2023 and 2025.
At 16 he became the youngest winner of the Amateur Championship in 2009 before taking the silver medal for low amateur in the 2009 Open Championship, also going on to be the then youngest player to make the cut at the Masters Tournament in 2010 He turned professional shortly after the Masters and was the second youngest full DP World Tour Member in history after his idol, the great Seve Ballesteros.
Manassero then became the youngest winner in DP World Tour history with victory in the 2010 Castello Masters at 17 years and 188 days, adding titles in the next three seasons including the prestigious BMW PGA Championship in 2013. He would wait nearly 11 years for his next win, lifting the trophy at the 2024 Jonsson Workwear Open and ending that 2024 campaign by gaining dual membership with the PGA TOUR.
He claimed the Spanish National Championship every year from Under-7 to Under-18 level after taking the game up at the age of six. Won his maiden DP World Tour title at the 2009 Austrian Golf Open and added wins at the 2012 Omega Dubai Desert Classic and 2017 Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open. Made his Ryder Cup debut for Team Europe in 2016, emerging undefeated from his three matches.
Fulfilled a childhood ambition in 2021, winning the Acciona Open de España presented by Madrid, defeating compatriot Adri Arnaus in a play-off in the Spanish capital.Show More
A two-time winner on the Sunshine Tour, his first victory was in 2018 at the Big Easy Challenge 15 - Parkview, followed by his second success at the 2019 Vodacom Origins Stellenbosch. Became the first winner of the DP World Tour era with his success at the 2021 Joburg Open, which launched the 2022 season. Beat Matt Wallace in a play-off to win his second DP World Tour title of the campaign at the Omega European Masters and would later be named the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year for 2022.
He has since won the Investec South African Open Championship, BMW International Open and claimed a second victory at the Omega European Masters.
Born in Madrid, was a promising football player before deciding to focus on golf after a wrist injury. Chacarra attended Wake Forest University, where his sister Carolina also played golf, before transferring to Oklahoma State University, studying Sports Management, Finance and Psychology. Was a member of the Spanish team that finished fourth at the 2021 European Amateur Team Championships, where he recorded the lowest individual score in the qualification round.
He was a first-team All American and reached second on the World Amateur Golf Ranking before turning professional in 2022. Playing on a sponsor’s invitation, won his maiden DP World Tour title at the 2025 Hero Indian Open, 18 months after his last professional victory at the Asian Tour’s St Andrews Bay Championship.
The Bulgarian first picked up a club while on holiday with his family in Belek and became a leading amateur in his region. He won the Macedonian Amateur Open in 2024 and 2025 and soon added the Bulgarian Junior and Romanian Amateur Championships to his collection. While still at school and with his coach as his caddie, he became the first Bulgarian to play on the DP World Tour at the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open.

Opened on November 18, 1994, National Golf Club is the first golf club in Belek, Antalya. Designed by David Feherty and David Jones, it is an 18-hole championship heathland course set within a pine forest. The club offers a full practice facility including driving range, putting and chipping greens, practice bunkers and PGA-led training. Its final four holes are floodlit, allowing evening play.
Designed by Peter Thomson and opened in 2008, Carya Golf Club is Europe’s first fully floodlit 18-hole golf course. Located in Belek, it offers a unique golfing experience with championship-level play, advanced practice facilities and professional coaching supported by TrackMan technology.
The Turkish Airlines Open has a rich history and has welcomed some of the biggest stars in golf. Tiger Woods played in the 2013 edition, making headlines with his iconic shot across the Bosphorus from Asia to Europe. Justin Rose dominated the tournament in 2017 and 2018, becoming one of the few players to claim multiple victories here. Other past champions include Victor Dubuisson (2013, 2015), Brooks Koepka (2014), Thorbjørn Olesen (2016), and Tyrrell Hatton (2019).
