The seven-time DP World Tour winner and former World Number One led Europe to a famous Ryder Cup victory over the United States in Rome in 2023. He returns ahead of the contest in New York this September, becoming Europe’s first repeat Captain since Bernard Gallacher in the 1990s.
The big-hitting Belgian is a three-time winner on the DP World Tour, and became the first player to represent his country in the Ryder Cup when he took part in the 2012 victory dubbed the Miracle at Medinah. Was also one of Luke Donald’s vice-captains for the win in Rome in 2023.
The Englishman is the leading player on the Race to Dubai in the field at Regnum Carya. Claimed his second DP World Tour title at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in December, and with three further top tens – including two runner- up finishes – is currently fourth in the season-long race.
The 20-year old rising star earned his DP World Tour card for 2025 by topping the Global Amateur Pathway Ranking, following a season that included victory at the 2024 Asia-Pacific Amateur. Has impressed on his debut season, with five top 20 finishes so far including T5 at the ISPS HANDA Australian Open.
